I'm looking for 10 families with three kids of any ages to feature in this project.

You'll receive your dream family photo shoot (custom designed especially for you) as a thank you for participating.

Three is a Perfect Crowd

Three children changes everything. You and your partner are outnumbered by your children for the first time. There's this whole new family dynamic. 

It's such a long way from those days when your oldest child was the centre of your world. Everything they say or do is incredible, you secretly think they're a genius, and almost certainly the cutest kid who has ever lived. They fill your whole life and most of your days. 

Then your second child comes, and you adjust to this new family, juggling an older sibling while being plunged back into the newborn haze. Your children become friends with each other, and your family has this feeling of solidity and permanence. You're no longer just a couple with a kid - you're well and truly a family. 

Then your third child arrives, and things change all over again. You have the baby of the family to coo over and adore. You have your oldest child, the one who first gave you the gift of being a parent.

But you also have this new experience - a middle child. Not the youngest, not the oldest, most likely the craziest - but sometimes the glue that holds everyone together. 

Life is a juggle. You're pulled in so many different directions at once. Some days you're literally having your arms pulled by three (or 6!) little hands all at the same time. Your arms and your lap and your schedule have never been so full - but neither has your heart. 

You feel like you never get to give each of your children the individual attention they deserve. Each of them has such a special place in your heart - each of them so unique, and special in their own way, and even though you have the same overarching motherly love for all of them, you have a special relationship with each and you love them each in different ways too. 

When was the last time you really sat down and thought about how perfect each of them is? When was the last time you stopped and thought about what it is that really makes each of them special, of all those unique things you love - and the unique things about your relationship with them that you don't have with any of your other children? 

I want to invite you to do that now. Take some time to celebrate those relationships and those unique personalities, and the crazy, chaotic, perfect way your family fits together.
